In 1888, Siebrandt Oosterbaan opened a small paint shop on the south-side of p  Chicago which was later run by his sons, Gerritt and Jerry. Following his death in 1959, Jerry's eldest and youngest sons, Brandt Sr. and Ronald took over the Chicago-based business and in 1974 moved it to its present location in Posen, IL. Today, both of Brandt Sr.'s Sons, Brandt Jr. and Gregory operate as the fourth-generation of Oosterbaan and Sons.
